KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement likely to be a partner in Sindh government and an announcement to this effect will be made in a few days, citing well placed sources, ARY News reported on Saturday.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain in a recent statement advised his party to avoid statements against Pakistan People's Party and maintain an environment of mutual respect, which depicts growing understanding between the two formal allies in Sindh coalition, sources said.

According to sources the MQM leadership has decided to join the provincial government and has has selected its ministers in the coalition with their portfolios. 

People's Party and MQM will formally announce their alliance after a meeting in the Governor House, sources added.
