ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members staged walkout from National Assembly session on Wednesday to protest against extra-judicial killings of their party workers in Karachi, ARY News reported.
The opposition members in the lower house today criticized the government over the absence of its ministers in the session.
Leader of the Opposition Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah said that the ministers' considering their presence in the house of the parliament is unnecessary.
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, who was chairing the session, directed the treasury to ensure presence of the ministers in the house.
