MQM postpones 'Pakistan Day' rally

In a statement, MQM spokesperson informed workers and media that the ‘National Unity Rally’ planned on Pakistan Day has been postponed for sometime.

The rally which was to be held on March 23, 2015 will take place some other day.

The spokesperson said that the workers and general public will be informed through media as soon as the new date for the National Unity Rally will be finalized.

The National Unity Rally was set to be arranged by MQM  in Clifton area of Karachi on March 23 as a part of the celebrations of Pakistan Day.

Pakistan Day or Pakistan Resolution Day is a national holiday in Pakistan to commemorate the Lahore Resolution of 1940, a formal political statement adopted by the All-India Muslim League for the creation of Pakistan.
