Expressing his views in ARY News talk show ‘Off The Record’, Qureshi opined that it seems that MQM is feeling insecure over PTI’s arrival in Karachi despite the constituency being a MQM stronghold.

Qureshi said that the constituency is their stronghold, they have won elections after elections there so they shall not be threated by a new party (PTI) presenting its viewpoint to people.

“Which sort of democracy is that, how can they stop us from holding a rally at Jinnah Ground, it is our political right and we will off-course hold the rally”, said an adamant Qureshi.

Referring to the attack on PTI candidate Imran Ismail’s car, the PTI central leader said that people of Karachi want freedom from this sort of terrorism and scaring tactics.

“This sort of attitude let people call for an alternative force in Karachi”, opined Qureshi.

It must be noted that PTI candidate for NA-246, Imran Ismail’s car was attacked with batons by MQM workers when he went to Azizabad’s Jinnah Ground to review facilities.

PTI is holding an electoral rally in Azizabad’s Jinnah Ground for upcoming by polls in NA-246 constituency on April 19.
