KARACHI: Expecting the upcoming budget to be traditional one, MQM leader Farooq Sattar said the common man will still be at the suffering end in the budget 2014-15, which will be presented tomorrow (Tuesday), ARY News reported Monday.
In a press conference, MQM leader said country could not be steered out of crisis until people were empowered. “If we don’t reach out to people at their homes, they will consequently take to the streets,” said Sattar.
He said if [government] did not fulfil its responsibility, people and history will not forgive them.
Sattar said government must have top priority to eliminate poverty and inflation from the country. He predicted that only rich segment of the society will be facilitated in the budget.
