The protest rallies arranged country wide called for arrest, legal action against the firebrand cleric for supporting terrorist organizations like Islamic State (IS), Taliban and his threatening statement against MQM founder and chief Altaf Hussain.
MQM leaders while speaking to rallies in Karachi, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Larkana, Lahore, Hyderabad and Islamabad said that MQM will stand united against terrorism from Karachi to Khyber.
The Threat behind the Burqa
MQM leader Hyder Abbas Rizvi while taking a jab at the extremist cleric said that threats do not suit the mouth of people who used to train madressa attending children for terrorism and escaped wearing Burqa (Abaya) referring to the Lal Masjid Operation which Abdul Aziz escaped in the embarrassing fashion.
Another MQM stalwart Babar Ghouri claimed that committees cannot solve the terrorism issue and the nation is looking towards Pakistan Army.
