MQM stages walkout of NA over workers killings
ISLAMABAD: The members of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) staged walkout from National Assembly today over alleged extra-judicial killings of the party workers, ARY News reported.
Speaking at the floor of the National Assembly, Asif Hasnain MNA said that the workers of MQM being extra-judicially killed in Karachi.
He accused the police of forming death squads and killings the party workers in the city.
He claimed that the efforts are being made to push MQM out of the political process.
He appealed to the President, Prime Minister and Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the killings in Karachi.
Later, the MQM lawmakers staged walkout from the house to protest against alleged extra-judicial killings of the party's workers.
