MQM RC of Pakistan and London conducted an emergency joint-meeting today following the Munawar Hassan’s address to JI convention at Minar-e-Pakistan.
During the address he [Munawar Hassan] said that the only way to resolve issues is battling for the sake of Allah as democratic politics cannot solve the problems. He asked to promote Jihad culture.
MQM RC, strongly condemning the statement, said that Pakistan has been facing severe religious extremism and terrorism for so long and peace is the utmost need of the country.
“In such circumstances former JI’s chief statement can provoke youth for killing and massacre”, It added.
The co-ordination committee said Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar can now easily realize that who is playing the role of ‘Diash’ in Pakistan by reviewing Munawar Hassan’s statement.
MQM RC has asked President, Prime Minister, Federal Interior Minister, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Naval staff to take serious notice of Munawar Hassan’s statement.
