LONDON: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has said that his party will support the federal government and military in tough times, ARY News reports on Saturday.
In a statement, Altaf Hussain said that the state has lost time in debates due to which valuable lives are being lost each day. Therefore, the federal government and army should take a final decision to lift the country from the turbulent situation.
He further said that the Pakistan Army has faced irreparable damage through suicide attacks and bomb blasts but the supporters of the heinous act of terrorism are still supporting the terrorist factions. He urged that strict and joint laws should be introduced against such groups in the constitution so that the state can become a cradle of peace.
MQM Chief added that the country will continue to face such damages as long as the government of Pakistan delays its decision of taking any step towards terrorism.
