MQM MPA Faisal Sabzwari while condemning the incident claimed that Rangers raided the office at a time when the General workers meeting was underway and important decisions were being taken regarding the administration of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, MQM’s welfare wing.
Sabzwari revealed that he reached the spot as soon as the news arrived and the Rangers personnel behaved well with him but he was not allowed to enter the office premises. Several workers were rounded up, arrested and women were manhandled.
The MPA said that it is a party office not a Taliban headquarter and he cannot comprehend the purpose of such raid.
He appealed DG Rangers to take notice of the incident and vowed to leave no stone unturned for the release of innocent party workers.
