Mukhtar sets record with most runs in domestic T20 innings

According to details, Mukhtar Ahmed hit 123 runs from 67 balls against Karachi Region Whites to break the record of most runs in a T20 innings which was previously held by Imran Farhat with 115 runs.

Ahmed scored 18 fours and three sixes to achieve the milestone.

Sialkot Region, with the help of Mukhtar’s knock and Nauman Anwar’s half century, put up 198 runs on the board in their respective 20 overs against Karachi Region Whites.

However, Ahsan Ali’s 76-run innings went in vain as Karachi fell seven runs short from the target.

Hyderabad edges past Multan:

Hyderabad Region defeated Multan Region by eight wickets.

Multan scored 186/4 in their 20 overs with Sohaib Maqsoob being the top scorer with 77 runs followed by Naved Yasin (55) and Kashif Naved (26).

Nasir Awais took two wickets for Hyderabad while Nauman Ali dismissed one batsman.

Chasing 187 to win, Hyderabad scored 190 runs with Captain Sharjeel Khan leading his side to victory with a superb 91 run knock which included 13 boundaries and four sixes.

Faisal Athar and Lal Kumar contributed 56 and 23 runs respectively for the side.
