Multan Stampede: Imran demands judicial commission for inquiry

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has demanded a judicial commission to investigate the stampede which erupted after the party’s rally in Multan, ARY News reports on Sunday.

Seven people were killed in a stampede which broke out after the PTI’s rally in Multan’s Qasim Bagh.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan expressed his lack of confidence over the investigation committee formed by the government to probe the stampede incident and demanded that a judicial committee should investigate the incident.

Imran Khan said that the issue is very serious. He asked that why the gates of the rally venue were locked from the outside.

He has announced that he will pay a visit to the families who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate incident.
