Munawwar condemns Nawaz’s suggestion about visa for India
ISLAMABAD: Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Syed Munawwar Hassan has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s recommendation to end visa restrictions between Pakistan and India is similar to eliminating border between the two countries, ARY News reported.
Expressing strong reaction over PM Nawaz’s statement that he quoted in World Literature Conference, Munawwar Hassan said that removing visa restrictions can be the agenda of Congress but for Muslim League, it cannot be.
“We also want to have friendly relations with the neighboring countries but one hand can’t clap”, he added.
Munawwar said that talks with India should be held on every issue including Kashmir issue and water aggression.
