LAHORE: Ameer of Jamat e Islami (JI), Syed Munawwar Hassan has strongly denounced the attacks on media houses and threats issued to them – ARY News reports.
Talking to media here on Tuesday, Munawwar Hassan stated that threatening ARY News and other channels is an extremely shameful act. He condemned the terrorism activities all over the country including attacks on media houses and Mohamand Agency incident that had claimed lives of 23 Frontier Constabulary (FC) men.
The JI Ameer alleged India to be involved in these terrorist incidents, which is fabricating conspiracies to destabilize Pakistan after extending its roots deep in Afghanistan.
Earlier today, an explosive device was found outside the SITE Office of ARY News here in Karachi, whereas the offices of Aaj News and Waqt News were also targeted on Monday.
Unknown miscreants had hurled a cracker at Aaj News office injuring 2wo persons, whilst the device hurled in the office of Waqt News did not explode.
