Murad discusses development projects with World Bank Group

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Saturday discussed development portfolio and future uplift projects with a high-level delegation of the World Bank Group.

The delegation was led by CEO Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, Regional Vice President South Asia Ms. Annette Dixon and Country Director Pakistan Mr. Patchamutha Illangovan.

The chief minister said that the visit by the World Bank Group is essential as it will assist the uplift of the province and several development schemes in the health, education and social welfare sector.

Under the plan, a one-window plan has been established to increase business activities and investment. The World Bank will provide feasibility studies of the development schemes to the Sindh government by April.

Murad said that he is making his sincere efforts for the development and prosperity of the province.
