Musharraf Case: Justice Doggar challenges Special Court decision
Three-judge special court headed by Sindh High Court’s Justice Faisal Arab in its decision over a plea of the defence ordered the government to investigate the role of Justice Abdul Hameed Doggar, former prime minister Shaukat Aziz and former law minister Zahid Hamid as abettors in the case.
Advocate Iftikhar Hussain Gillani has filed petition of the former chief justice Abdul Hameed Doggar in Islamabad High Court challenging the special court’s decision.
The special court and Pervez Musharraf have been made party in the petition.
Justice Doggar contended in his plea that he has nothing to do with November 3, 2007, step of former president Pervez Musharraf.
