Barrister Farogh Nasim has filed the petition in the apex court, adopting the stance that no decision has been made by the court in the treason case against Pervez Musharraf.

“The treason case filed by federal government under article 6 is being heard in the special court therefore former president should be considered as accused rather than convicted”, mentioned in the petition.

Musharraf while declaring SHC’s verdict baring him to contest as a candidate of the National Assembly was discriminatory and unconstitutional has pleaded the apex court to annul the judgment against his disqualification by the SHC.
