Musharraf expected to appear before court tomorrow
ISLAMABAD: Former President, General (R) Pervez Musharraf is expected to appear before the special court tomorrow, in this regard an effective security plan has already been devised – ARY News reports.
According to details, Pervez Musharraf is expected to appear before the special court in the treason trial against him tomorrow. Police has completed the proceedings of the arrest warrant issued against him, whereas Musharraf has not yet got immunity from the court.
Sources told that Frontier Constabulary (FC), Rangers and Islamabad Police officials will be performing the security duties of the former President.
Security personnel will be deployed throughout the way from the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) to the special court hearing the treason trial.
Earlier, the Ministry of Interior had issued the orders for the security arrangements of General (R) Pervez Musharraf.
Meanwhile, the counsel of Musharraf, Ahmed Raza Kasuri has hinted at giving a 'surprise' tomorrow.
