ISLAMABAD: Former President and Army Chief of Pakistan General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf has submitted a review petition for the decision made by the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) on 31st July 2009, ARY News reports on Saturday.
The petition was filed by the lawyer of the former President Sharifuddin Pirzada. It is stated in the petition that Musharraf was labeled a usurper without being heard.
Earlier, Registrar of the apex court had refused to file the review petition by criticizing that it can only be filed by Musharraf's lawyer. The Registrar also objected that the lawyer's name is printed on the petition but wasn't signed by him.
