KARACHI: In his rare public address after indictment on treason charges, the former president Pervez Musharraf said everyone should first think about Pakistan, ARY News reported Friday.
Speaking to the participants through telephonic address in a rally taken out by All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) workers at Do Talwaar, Clifton, Musharraf said Pakistan was going through a tough phase. The rally was taken out in his support.
"You are witnessing whatever is going on in courts," he said
He sounded firm when saying, "we will also deal with the courts."
He reiterated that whatever he did was in the interest of Pakistan.
Amid his address, participants of the rally kept chanting slogans in his favour.
The ex-president thanked the party workers and other participants for attending the rally.
