Musharraf thanks PM, Nisar for letting him go out of country

In his first interview to anchorperson Waseem Badami since he reached Dubai, Musharraf lamented that ‘with regard to him rumors-generating machines have been set on back home’.

He denied starting political activities saying at first he will get his medical treatment completed.

Asked that people say he was on ventilator in Karachi but in Dubai the ex-president has lit his cigar, the former military ruler commented: “God forbid, I am not dying, however ailing certainly”.

He added that he may visit United States next week, for the sake of treatment.

Responding to a question about his return to country, Musharraf said nothing can be predicted about his return as of yet.

He thanked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for allowing him to go out of country to get treated.

The former president however negated a deal with anyone to leave the country.
