KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said a treason trial of former president Pervez Musharraf was a test of judiciary and the federal government, ARY News reported Monday.
Talking to media outside Sindh Assembly session here, the minister said Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Taliban and the PML-N had covert agreement among them.
He said he did not consider statements of Rana Sanaullah as serious.
To a question, Sharjeel said Chief Minister Sindh enjoyed complete confidence of party leadership.
The minister told the media that consultations over appointment of IG Sindh were underway and soon a decision will be taken in this regard.
