Musharraf's future will be decided by court: Pervaiz Rasheed
ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed said on Sunday that Gen. Rtd. Pervaiz Musharraf is under the custody of court and it will decide about his future, ARY News reported.
Speaking to media in ceremony held in Islamabad on Sunday, Pervaiz Rasheed said law rules in Pakistnan and Musharraf should appear in court.
He said government never interfere in court proceeding and law made way of its own.
The Minister said that Prime Minister's legacy will be remembered as an ambassador of peace and not a merchant of war. He said Pakistan will soon become representative of peace.
Pervaiz Rasheed said government not involving country in any particular war. He said it is a track record of PML-N that during its tenure the economy improves and value of rupee appreciates and even the international financial institutions have acknowledged that Pakistan has embarked on the path of fast track development.
Replying to a question, the Minister said that he watched the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh adding “Pakistan’s flag raised where it needed to be raised.”
