Musharraf's mother taken to hospital as condition worsened
SHARJAH: Mother of General (R) Pervez Musharraf, Zareen Musharraf has been taken to W Wilson Hospital, as her condition worsened earlier today – ARY News reports.
According to details, Zareen Musharraf's condition suddenly worsened and she was reported to be hardly breathing. She was immediately taken to the W Wilson Hospital, where different medical tests are being conducted pertaining to her illness.
Former President, General (R) Pervez Musharraf has time and again requested the courts and appealed the government through his lawyers, to let him visit his ailing mother, yet all his pleas were rejected.
Pervez Musharraf is himself under treatment at the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC), while he has been summoned by the special court on March 31.
Pertaining to Musharraf's presence, the special court had also issued his non-bailable arrest warrants and ordered the police to arrest the former President, if he declines to appear at the hearing on March 31.
