Muslim League lawyer shot dead in Karachi
KARACHI: Insane bloodletting continued in Karachi as a lawyer affiliated with Muslim League-Nawaz was shot dead on Thursday morning in Gulshan Iqbal, ARY News reports.
Syed Waqar Shah, vice president of PML-N lawyers wing Sindh, was fired at when he was passing through Gulshan Iqbal in his car. He received critical bullet wounds and was taken to a private hospital for medical attendance, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Karachi Bar has announced boycott of the courts to protest against the murder of Syed Waqar Shah.
According to police sources, the murder has seemingly a sectarian angle, however, the police investigating into the incident to arrest the culprits of the targeted killing incident.
