RIYADH: Pakistan’s Ambassador in Saudi Arabia Manzoor-ul-Haq has said that the Muslim world is standing with Kashmiris in their struggle for the right to self determination, ARY News reported
He made the statement while addressing a function hosted with regard to Kashmir’s Solidarity Day in Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh.
Haq urged that the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the resolutions of United Nations (UN) Security Council. He went on to say that India stubbornness is delaying the matter.
He added that the Kashmir dispute remain unresolved for nearly seven decades now.
The Pakistani ambassador stated that the country will continue to support Kashmiri people and will raise the human rights abuses – being committed by Indian forces – at international forums.
He also presented a resolution on Kashmir which was unanimously accepted by the participants present in the function.
