Muzaffarabad: Four killed, 29 injured in road tragedy

MUZAFFARABAD: At least four people were killed and 29 injured when a passenger van plunged into a ravine near Muzaffarabad, ARY News reported Thursday.

A van heading to Muzaffarabad from Peer Chunaki met a tragedy near Niyazpura when it skidded off a road and plunged into a ravine. According to police, the incident occurred when the van was negotiating a sharp curve.

It is reported that the van was overcrowded that caused failure of the brakes and tragedy occurred.

Several of the injured including women and children were shifted to nearby hospitals. Doctors say that six persons of the injured were in critical condition.
