Muzaffargarh Self-Immolation: Girl provoked to commit suicide
MUZAFFARGARH: Key disclosures have been made in the Muzaffargarh self-immolation case as an eye-witness said that the girl burned herself after being instigated by a journalist of a private television channel, ARY News reports.
Seventeen year old Amina had set fire to herself after she came to know that her alleged rapists were given bail by the court.
According to the eye witness named Tanveer, Amina set herself on fire when the journalist said that she can only receive justice through a suicide attempt.
The self immolation of Amina has resulted in the suspension of several police officers.
This incident poses a huge question mark on the media ethics of the country, analysts observed.
