PTI rallies in Karachi ahead of NA-246 by-polls

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) took out a rally in Karachi on Wednesday as a part of the party’s election campaign for upcoming NA-246 by-polls, ARY News reported.

According to details, PTI workers under their local leadership took out a rally in areas constituting NA-246.

The rally led by PTI Karachi President Ali Zaidi and the party’s candidate for by-polls Imran Ismail started from Karimabad and after going through Moosa Colony reached Gulberg area.

The rally ended in Water Pump where PTI leaders talked to media outside the party’s election office.
Imran Ismail, Ali Zaidi, Naz Baloch and other PTI leaders met youth, traders and general public of the area.

PTI is all set to hold an election rally at Azizabad’s Jinnah Ground scheduled to be addressed by the party chief Imran Khan.

Imran Khan will land in Karachi on Wednesday (today).


The constituency NA-246 considered MQM stronghold is witnessing a rise in political activism before the by-polls due to be held on April 23.

Tensions between the two parties rose after a scuffle in Karimabad and a press conference on Tuesday in which PTI leaders lashed out at MQM chief by calling him an ‘absconder’.
