NA: Marvi tables bill relating to acid attacks in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Members of the National Assembly (NA) tabled several bills including the one relating to acid attacks and burning of people alive in Pakistan, during today's session, for getting them approved by the House – ARY News reports.

Speaker, Ayaz Sadiq chaired the session of the House on Tuesday, during which the first bill recommended an increase in punishment of culprits in case of bouncing of a cheque.

PMLN member, Marvi Memon presented the bill pertaining to acid attacks and burning alive of people in Pakistan, in which various punishments and a timeframe of such cases suggested.

Kishwar Zehra tabled the bill pertaining to severe punishment of the ones accused of kidnapping for ransom.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members tabled three different bills regarding free of cost issuance of National Identity Card (NIC), aviation safety and to stop the ones preventing women from casting votes, the bill suggested for taking an action against such individuals.
