NA: Opposition members inflamed at PM's absence from House

ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) Head, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has demanded for the cancellation of the National Assembly's membership of the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif – ARY News reports.

According to details, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Syed Khursheed Shah expressed annoyance at the absence of the Prime Minister from today's session.

As the session commenced, AML Head Sheikh Rasheed demanded that who so ever remains absent from the assembly for 40 days, his membership should cancelled.

Opposition Leader, Syed Khursheed Shah said that the nation is looking forward to the Prime Minister and inquired what for is he reluctant to attend the session of the House.

He urged PM Nawaz Sharif to come up to the trust of the people vested in him saying that the nation does not need rulers, it requires leadership and the decisions should be taken timely, won't that it gets too late.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the people were expecting the Prime Minister to take the Parliament into confidence on national issues, but he did not consider it necessary.

He stated that we do not know in what direction we are heading.

However, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq silenced everyone, informing that the Prime Minister had presented his leave application prior to the session.
