ISLAMABAD: The hearing of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references against former president Asif Ali Zardari could not be held in Accountability Court today due to the lawyers strike, ARY News reporated on Thursday.
The lawyers go on strike in protest against recent terrorist attack on district court in Islamabad's F-8 area in which 13 persons including a judge and scores of lawyers were killed and more that 30 persons were injured.
Accountability court judge Mohammad Bashir heard the five NAB references against former president Asif Ali Zardari.
Counsel of the former president Farooq H Naik and NAB prosecutor were present in the court for the hearing.
Accountability Judge adjourned the hearing of the case untill March 13.
