ISLAMABAD: Calling on the Members of National Assembly to get ready to elect a new Prime Minister, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem ul Haque on Thursday said that the premier has produced fake documents before the Supreme Court.
“Supreme Court has to disqualify Nawaz Sharif under Article 62 and 63,” Haque said while addressing media outside the apex court.
He called on the National Assembly to get preparation for electing a new PM. “The Sharifs have been providing false information in bid to make the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) controversial,” Haq further said.
Haque said the PM’s date of birth records of Dubai documents varied with Pakistan documents. “The discrepancies exist in the documents provided by Sharifs,” he claimed.
He also termed the PM House the hub of all fraudulent schemes.
Earlier today, PTI chairman Imran Khan said that it’s another crime of the Sharifs emerging by producing fraudulent documents before the Supreme Court as what he said such documents intend to obstruct justice.
“Apart from money laundering [and] corruption, another emerging major crime of Sharifs is producing fraudulent documents before SC to obstruct justice,” Khan tweeted during the hearing session of Panama Papers implementation case in the Supreme Court for fourth consecutive day on Thursday.
The Supreme Court’s special implementation bench continued hearing of the Panama case for the fourth day today. Advocate Salman Akram Raja, the counsel for the PM’s children Maryam, Hussain and Hasan, prayed the court to dismiss the JIT report as well as the three constitutional petitions in the Panama Papers case.
