KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira on Saturday said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi would have to pay a heavy price if he continued the same behavior, ARY News reported.

“Modi’s politics is extremely dreadful. He launched his political career with extremism and adopted fanaticism as a way of his politics,” Qamar Zaman Kaira said in a statement in response to the Indian PM’s anti-Pakistan rhetoric.

On the other hand, he said, the country got united whenever it faced an external threat.

The PPP leader said all the political parties got united despite differences.

On February 26, former defence minister Khawaja Asif had said, by putting aside political differences, all political parties should get united against India’s violation of the Line of Control (LoC).

“It is time for unity. Nobody should play politics on this issue. We stand by our country’s armed forces,” Khawaja Asif had said while addressing the National Assembly following the Indian jets’ violation of the LoC.

The PML-N stalwart had said: “We are all united on the Kashmir conflict and we must not hesitate on this issue.”

In the wee hours of February 26, Indian aircraft intruded the LoC near Muzaffarabad sector, however they scrambled back following timely response from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
