Nasreen Jalil asks PM to lift YouTube ban
KARACHI: MQM Senator Nasreen Jalil make Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif aware on Sunday about peoples’ concern over ban on popular video sharing website YouTube through a letter, ARY News reported.
In her letter, Nasreen Jalil informed PM Nawaz Sharif that public is deeply concern about the incessant suspension of YouTube.
MQM Senator said that National Assembly and the Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights Rights have also accepted a resolution seeking lifting of ban on YouTube.
She stated that in the modern era of science and technology YouTube is an important medium for gaining information and awareness adding that Pakistan is the only country where YouTube is banned although our country has already been entered in the race of rapid pace communication after introducing 3G and 4G.
Nasreen Jalil appealed Nawaz Sharif to immediately lift the ban on YouTube keeping in view public’s sentiments and needs.
