Nation should abide by the teachings of Quaid: Justice Tassaduq

KARACHI: Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), has said that the nation should remember the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and practice it in their daily lives, ARY News reports on Monday.

The statement was made as the CJP arrived at Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum here in Karachi. He offered Fateha at Quaid’s grave.

Speaking to media, he said that his aim of arriving at Mazar-e-Quaid was to update the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam and the basis on which the country was made.

Tassaduq Hussain Jillani added that the Quaid wanted democracy and rule of law. He further said that Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted a system in which people from all religions would get their rights in light of Islamic teachings.

Chief Justice toured the museum of Quaid-e-Azam and also offered prayers at the graves of various leaders of Pakistan Movement.
