ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain said that the nation recognizes the sacrifices given by the armed forces of the country, ARY News reports from Islamabad.
President Mamnoon Hussain toured the Armed Forces Institution of Rehabilitation Medicine with Army Chief General Raheel Sharif. He said that the military has defended the country with great courage. "The nation is proud of its brave army", he added.
He also laid a floral wreath at the monument of the martyrs and offered Fateha.
The president was also briefed on the soldiers who were injured and paralyzed during the war against terrorism.
