SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has said that the nation has turned down misleading theories of terrorists – ARY News reports.
According to details, Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif visited South Waziristan Agency on Tuesday and observed ongoing development works there. He also met the officials and troops of Pakistan Army deployed there.
The Army Chief visited field formations and praised the sacrifices of Pak-Army troops for the sake of peace in the region.
He also vowed that the Pakistan Army will continue cooperating with tribal brothers under all circumstances.
Moreover, officials briefed the COAS about the ongoing operation against terrorists, operational affairs of the force and development works in the tribal region.
Within days after the airstrikes in Waziristan against militants, the visit of the Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif signifies that the military is not going to hold back itself from reacting against terrorists.
