LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif accusing nation for the destruction of Pakistan demanded nation to remain united for economic reform, peaceful society and implementation of constitution, ARY News reported.
While addressing the International Maritime Symposium at Navy War College in Lahore on Wednesday, Shahbaz Sharif said all political parties should agree on such a road map that ensures rapid economic growth, peaceful society and helps in implementation of constitution to get out of crisis situation.
The Chief Minister said continuation of democracy is a prerequisite for country's progress and prosperity.
He said during the last six decades we have dragged Pakistan in such a condition that at one hand we are having nuclear technology while in the other we are having begging bowl and looking for aid.
On the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif praised role of armed forces in the defense of Pakistan especially Navy for playing crucial role for safeguarding country's sea borders.
