LAHORE: Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab, has said that the nation must stand united like a brick wall in order to foil the conspiracies by the enemies of Pakistan towards the country, ARY News reports.
While reviewing the law and order situation in a meeting here on Friday, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif instructed the officials to utilize each resource to ensure the protection of the lives and property of the people and to leave no effort in ensuring the law and order situation in the province.
Discussing the security situation for Chehlum of Imam Hussain (R.A) and the martyrs of Karbala (R.A), the Chief Minister has instructed the Police and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) to keep a close eye on the extremists as well as to strengthen security arrangements through CCTV cameras and walk through scanners and gates. He added that unbiased action should be taken against people giving hate speeches and to implement the law of banning loudspeakers in every sense.
On the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that sectarianism should be eradicated for achieving peace.
