Nation will determine Sharif’s fate in next election, says Siraj

LAHORE: Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq has said that he does not want Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s governance to end and the nation will hold the Premier accountable in the next elections, ARY News reports.

Addressing an Iftar dinner, Siraj-ul-Haq said that that an announcement was made that Zarb-e-Azb military offensive in North Waziristan would end in 10 days but no fruitful results were gained nearly after a month after the operation kicked off.

He inquired that why the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) were not being allowed to return to their homes if 80% of the tribal areas has been declared clear.

JI Ameer said that the silence of Arab states on the Israeli atrocities on Palestine is saddening. He demanded the Premier to call a meeting of Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and invite all the leaders of the Muslim states.
