Nation will soon take to roads for revolution, claims Hamid Raza

KARACHI: Chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), Sahibzada Hamid Raza has claimed that the day when the entire nation will take to roads for a revolution against unrest, terrorism, inflation and employment, is soon to come – ARY News reports.

He was addressing a high-level meeting of the SIC upon his arrival here on Wednesday.

Hamid Raza expressed his serious concerns over the ongoing target-killings in the metropolis, despite of targeted operations by law enforcement agencies (LEAs). He added that some hidden elements are trying to politicize the efforts against terrorists, extortionists land and other numerous mafias.

The Chairman SIC expressed his fears that the Karachi Operation is being sacrificed upon political gains.

Hamid Raza stated that imposing a ban on warring groups and banned organizations is not only the demand of the people, but also a requisite to national security.

He told that the Government will have to establish its writ by insuring the safety of life and possession of people, eradicating cruelty and crime, and by establishing high-handedness of law and social justice.

The meeting was also addressed by the deputy secretary of SIC, Tariq Mehboob.
