National Action Plan Committee meets tomorrow

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali will chair the meeting of the committee on 4:00 pm tomorrow.

After Peshawar school carnage Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had summoned all parties conference on Wednesday to reach to a national strategy to deal with the menace of terrorism in the country. The moot decided to constitute the National Action Plan Committee with representation from all political parties in the parliament.

Most of the political parties have nominated their representatives for the committee.

Ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will be represented by Chaudhry Nisar Ali and Abdul Qadir Baloch.

Pakistan People’s Party has named Senator Rehman Malik and Qamar Zaman Kaira on the committee. Imran Khan has nominated Shah Mehmood Qureshi to represent Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Jamaat Islami has named Sahibzada Tariqullah and Fareed Paracha, Awami National Party has nominated Afrasiab Khattak, Pakistan Muslim League-Q Mushahid Hussain Syed, Qaumi Watan Party Aneesa Zaib and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl has given the name of Akram Durrani on the committee.
