National integrity not possible without uniform treatment: Altaf
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain has said that the national integrity cannot be invoked in a country without providing rights to the deprived people and without equally treating all ethnic and linguistic units – ARY News reports.
The statement was made while addressing a delegation of the party members from Pakistan here at the MQM International Secretariat on Wednesday.
On this occasion, Altaf Hussain said that the threats and serious challenges faced by Pakistan today, can only be overcome by strengthening Pakistan internally and this could only be achieved by considering everyone equal to others.
He demanded the authorities to eliminate the intensive sense of deprivation among smaller nationalities.
The MQM Chief said that despite of the conspiracies of anti-MQM forces, people have come to know about this fact that MQM is the only party that can lead a way out for Pakistan from all these issues and can strengthen and stabilize it.
He stressed the MQM members of the national and provincial assemblies and Senators to utilize all their capabilities to sort out the problems of the people and to take up public issues in the Parliament.
