Naval forces a significant weapon of foreign policy: Admiral Asif Sandhaila
LAHORE: Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Asif Sandhaila has said that naval forces are considered to be the most important weapon of the foreign policy, he was addressing the International Maritime Symposium here on Thursday – ARY News reports.
According to details, a two-day International Maritime Symposium was organized by Pakistan Navy War College, addressing which Naval Chief, Admiral Asif Sandhaila said that due to international classification as well as from defence point of view, seas and oceans hold vital significance, and they also hold a prime position in geo-politics, economic progress and on technological grounds.
He said that the symposium will help molding the future of maritime.
Moreover, the closing session of the symposium was addressed by the Defence Secretary and the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Rashad Mahmood.
