A Pakistan Navy ship has reached near Aden, the port city of Yemen to evacuate stranded compatriots, while another ship will cruise to Aden Port today.

The concerns about Pakistani nationals stranded in the conflict-torn Arab Peninsula country have enhanced after return of the Pakistani Ambassador in Sana’a with his embassy staff to home.

The family members of stranded Pakistani citizens from Multan lamenting over the plight of their dear ones in Yemen in their heart-wrenching pleas to the government leaders requested them for bringing their family members back to home.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam, however, said that the PIA flights not being given security clearance in the conflict zone as all air and land routes have been sealed.

Talking to ARY News, Aslam said the government trying to evacuate the stranded persons back to home through the naval route.
