Nawaz, Modi agree to refrain from issuing controversial statements

ISLAMABAD/NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today telephoned his Pakistani counterpart Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif  and discussed matters of mutual interest, ARY News reported.

Mr. Modi greeted Pakistani PM on occasion of Ramazan.

During the telephonic conversation, both the leaders agreed to refrain from issuing controversial statements.

They also discussed bilateral relations and overall situation of the region.

He said India wants good relations with Pakistan.
