“The rulers are telling lies to people to evade accountability,” he said while talking to media at his residence in Bani Gala, Islamabad.

He said the prime minister should have resigned after Panama Leaks revelation of having links with offshore companies.

He also responded to criticism of Information Minister Pervez Rashid and said those who attacked Supreme Court were lecturing us on democracy. “People like Pervez Rashid cannot deceive masses.”

Pervez Rashid had criticised the PTI chairman for warning to stage sit-in “at a time when democratic government of Pakistan needs stability”.
