ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) general secretary, Dr Amjad has said that if Nawaz Sharif, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and others can go abroad for medical treatment, then why can't General (R) Pervez Musharraf – ARY News reports.
Briefing the media at his office on Wednesday, Dr Amjad said that though the special court is not expected to grant justice to the former President, but still we have consulted the high court.
He told that a full fledge protest demonstration will be held in 10 major cities of Pakistan on February 7, to express solidarity with Pervez Musharraf and if a million march was required, that shall also be carried out.
The APML general secretary said that the Judiciary ended the sentence to Nawaz Sharif after eight years, regarding Musharraf it was said that the time to review decision has ended now.
He urged the Judiciary to abandon its dual standards.
Amjad said that the Chief Justice (R) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had also violated the Constitution, but Musharraf alone is tried to be punished.
