Nawaz Sharif’s days are numbered, claims Wassan

KARACHI: Sindh’s Home Minister Manzoor Wassan on Monday predicted that Nawaz Sharif would resign by June 15 to July in a press conference here at Sindh Secretariat, ARY News reported.

Talking to media persons, Sindh minister who is known for his future predictions, said that the political scenario turning critical for the premier to hold his office particularly in the wake of Panamagate verdict as political forces, lawyers, and the masses are coming forward with resignation demand by building an enormous pressure on the premier.

“Either Nawaz Sharif will step down or another prime minister will replace him”, said Wassan, claiming the premier’s days are numbered and the countdown has begun.

“It will be difficult for Nawaz Sharif to continue as prime minister of the country as the political parties, lawyers, and people are gradually intensifying their demand of resignation”, he added.

He further said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), in its deliberate attempt, trying to take national politics back in 90s era by using offensive language, adding that he would not respond over it.

On Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P)’s rally, the provincial minister said that MQM-P along with MQM-London faction and Mustafa Kamal led Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) are a single political party.

“As elections will come nearer, these parties under a single slogan would intensify their campaigns and contest elections as a single party ”, Wassan added.

He said that yesterday’s rally has proved his earlier claims.

It is worth mentioning here that a MQM-P held rally in Karachi yesterday was supported by the PSP, and MQM-Haqiqi.
